PINE VALLEY, California, Feb. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection issued the following news release on Feb. 27, 2024:

San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents seized more than 12 pounds of fentanyl after a vehicle stop on Interstate 8 Friday.
