WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- Rep. Richard Hudson, R-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
Today, Representative Richard Hudson (R-NC) joined Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Representative Andy Barr (R-KY) in introducing the Protecting Privacy in Purchases Act. This legislation would ban the use of a Merchant Category Code (MCC) to track transactions for firearms and ammunition sales.
