DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 21 -- Dayton Public Schools issued the following news release on Feb. 20, 2024:
The Board of Education unanimously voted to select Dr. David Lawrence as the Dayton Public School District's next Superintendent at its Tuesday, February 20, 2024 Business Meeting.
Dr. Lawrence has been serving as Interim Superintendent since July. He has nearly 30 years of experience in public education, having served in many roles in both suburban and urban District . . .
