WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Joe Manchin, D-West Virginia, issued the following news release:
Yesterday, U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Mike Braun (R-IN), wrote a letter to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) requesting the delay of the implementation of the new joint employer rule, which is currently scheduled to take effect on February 26, 2024. The rule would force liability on companies for another business' employees even if they do not directly oversee them.
