TYLER, Texas, Feb. 15 -- The University of Texas Tyler Campus issued the following news release:
The University of Texas at Tyler University Academy has been approved for the Teacher Incentive Allotment, or TIA, by the Texas Education Agency.
This approval provides UA with nearly $200,000 dollars to recognize TEA Designated Teachers this year. TEA Designated teachers will receive 80% of the funds, while 10% will be used to recognize the work of UA school aides. The rema . . .
