SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 15 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah issued the following news release on Feb. 14, 2024:
A federal grand jury in Salt Lake City, Utah, returned an indictment today charging seven defendants in a romance scam that cost victims around the United States and the world $8 million in losses.
