WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, vice chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release on Feb. 13, 2024:
Today, by a vote of 70-29, the U.S. Senate passed the national security supplemental package. U.S. Senator Susan Collins, Vice Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and Subcommittee on Defense, was a lead negotiator of the bipartisan legislation, which now heads to the U.S. House of Representatives for consideration.< . . .
