ORONO, Maine, Feb. 9 -- The University of Maine issued the following news release:
Kate McCarty, a food systems professional with University of Maine Cooperative Extension, has been recognized as part of an award-winning cookbook team.
McCarty contributed to the cookbook "A Taste of Two Worlds: Stories + Recipes from Greenland and Maine" which achieved global recognition in the culinary world at the Gourmand Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in November.
