Editor's Note: The Hawai'i State Department of Education recognizes that 'Olelo Hawai'i plays an essential role in our educational system. The Office of Hawaiian Education in partnership with the University of Hawai'i Community Colleges have offered free introductory Hawaiian language and culture courses for HIDOE full-time salaried employees since fall 2023.
