WASHINGTON, Feb. 2 -- Sen. John Hoeven, R-North Dakota, issued the following news release on Feb. 1, 2024:
Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee, today joined Senators Pete Ricketts (R-NE), Tim Scott (R-SC), and Jim Risch (R-ID) in pressing for "an immediate and permanent prohibition" of U.S. aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the national security supplemental bill.
