Landmark Lawmaker Lauded: Constance Baker Motley Graces USPS Black Heritage Stamp

WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 -- The U.S. Postal Service issued the following news release on Jan. 31, 2024:

The U.S. Postal Service today celebrated the remarkable contributions of Judge Constance Baker Motley (1921-2005), a civil rights pioneer and judiciary trailblazer, as the 47th honoree in the Black Heritage stamp series.

A dedication ceremony for the stamp was held today at the Constance Baker Motley Recreation Center in New York.
