PIERRE, South Dakota, Feb. 1 -- Gov. Kristi Noem, R-South Dakota, issued the following news release on Jan. 31, 2024:

Today, Governor Kristi Noem signed the first bills of the 2024 legislative session into law. The first two bills she signed into law prioritize tribal relations.
