WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 -- Rep. Shontel Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release on Jan. 29, 2024:
Earlier today, the home of Congresswoman Shontel Brown (OH-11) was targeted in a swatting attempt. Local police were directed to her address by a hoax message and took prompt action to investigate the matter. Congresswoman Brown is in Washington for votes this week and has been in contact with Warrensville Heights Police throughout the day.
