WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 -- Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-New Hampshire, issued the following news release:
The National Archives and Records Administration has cleared a backlog of veterans record requests from the National Personnel Records Center, which at one point numbered more than 600,000 during the pandemic, thanks in part to continued efforts from Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH). With the backlog now cleared, veterans should be able to receive their separation documents in less than a week . . .
