BALTIMORE, Maryland, Jan. 24 -- The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released state jobs and unemployment data today. According to the preliminary survey data, Maryland's total jobs decreased by 3,000 and the unemployment rate increased to 1.9% in December.
Sectors that created jobs include: Professional and Business Services (900); Other Services (80 . . .
