BALTIMORE, Maryland, Jan. 24 -- The University of Baltimore issued the following news release:
Ebony Thompson, J.D. '13, a Baltimore native and The University of Baltimore School of Law's May 2023 Commencement speaker, was confirmed by the Baltimore City Council as city solicitor on Jan. 22. Thompson joined city government in January 2022 to become deputy city solicitor, then was promoted to acting city solicitor a year later. She is the first woman to lead the city's Law Department . . .
