LANSING, Michigan, Jan. 24 -- Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Michigan, issued the following news release on Jan. 23, 2024:
Today, Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that Fortescue, a global provider of zero emission resources for the production of renewable energy, plans to establish its U.S. Advanced Manufacturing Center on Piquette Avenue in the city of Detroit with support from the Michigan Strategic Fund.
