MADISON, Wisconsin, Jan. 20 -- The Wisconsin Democratic Party issued the following statement on Jan. 19, 2024:

In response to the last-minute introduction of a new ban on abortion in Wisconsin introduced today by Republicans in the Wisconsin Legislature, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler released the following statement:
"Days before the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, MAGA Republicans are pushing a new ban on abortion with no excep . . .
