WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nevada, issued the following news release:

Las Vegas, Nev. - U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) joined Black community leaders and families to celebrate the 42nd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade in Las Vegas. Cortez Masto served as one of the parade's Grand Marshals and kicked off the parade by speaking about the importance of honoring Dr. King's life and legacy.
