NEW YORK, Jan. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York issued the following news release on Jan. 5, 2024:
Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced today that JOSEPH DUPONT and SLAVA KAPLAN, a/k/a "Stanley Kaplan," were sentenced to three years' probation and five months in prison, respectively, for securities fraud in connection with their participation in an insider trading scheme . . .
