WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, Dec. 29 -- The U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson Air Force Base issued the following news:
The commander of the 88th Air Base Wing at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, was relieved of command Dec. 29 due to a loss of confidence in his ability to lead.
Col. Christopher B. Meeker was removed by Lt. Gen. Donna D. Shipton, commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Meeker assumed command in July 2022.
