AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 23 -- Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton issued the following news release:
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, along with attorneys general from all states and several territories, has secured a $700 million agreement with Google over anticompetitive conduct concerning the Google Play Store.
Google must pay $630 million in restitution, minus costs and fees, to consumers who made purchases on the Google Play Store between August 2016 and September 2023 . . .
