MADISON, Wisconsin, Dec. 22 -- The Wisconsin Republican Party issued the following news on Dec. 21, 2023:

Today, Tammy Baldwin called for a ceasefire in Gaza, aligning herself with the demands of Hamas and the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
This comes despite Hamas pledging to continue attacks on Israel as well as their history of violating five previous ceasefires.
