CAMDEN, New Jersey, Dec. 21 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey issued the following news release on Dec. 20, 2023:

A North Carolina man today admitted orchestrating a large-scale market manipulation scheme related to two publicly traded companies, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

James Patten, 64, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Christine P. O'Hearn to securities fraud and conspiracy . . .
