Colo. Senate Democrats: Laws to Put $170M Back Into the Pockets of Hardworking Coloradans, Boost Food Assistance Go Into Effect

DENVER, Colorado, Dec. 19 -- The Colorado Senate Democrats issued the following news release on Dec. 18, 2023:

On January 1, a new law goes into effect to expand the state Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, putting more money back into the pockets of hardworking Coloradans. HB23-1008 also goes into effect, closing tax loopholes in order to expand access to healthy foods in lower-income and under-served communities and help small food retailers and small family farms.
