LEADVILLE, Colorado, Dec. 15 (TNSres) -- Gov. Jared Polis, D-Colorado, issued the following news release on Dec. 14, 2023:

Today, Governor Polis celebrated the launch of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) and Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) program new Avalanche Accident Explorer. This interactive map displays information about Colorado's fatal accidents since December 2009.
