KINGSTON, Rhode Island, Dec. 13 -- The University of Rhode Island issued the following news:
The Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society was founded in 1897 and is one of the most renowned multidisciplinary honor societies in American higher education. More than 100 years after the URI chapter of Phi Kappa Phi was established in 1913, the University of Rhode Island branch has been inducted into the Circle of Excellence, and has received the Gold Honor award.
