CUMBERLAND, Maryland, Dec. 12 -- Allegany College of Maryland issued the following news release:
Allegany College of Maryland received two grants to assist current students: $3,000 from Swipe Out Hunger and $14,574 from the Maryland Higher Education Commission's Hunger-Free Campus program. The grants are earmarked for The Pantry, the college's permanent provider of food, personal care/hygiene products, and school supplies for students in need.
