DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania, Dec. 8 -- The U.S. Embassy in Tanzania issued the following news release on Dec. 7, 2023:

At the Peace Corps Tanzania Headquarters on Thursday, twenty-one Americans were sworn in as Peace Corps volunteers. U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania Michael Battle and Peace Corps Tanzania Country Director Stephanie Joseph de Goes presided over the swearing in ceremony.
