UTEP Awarded $5M to Research Climate Change Mitigations

EL PASO, Texas, Dec. 8 (TNSres) -- The University of Texas's El Paso campus issued the following news release:

The University of Texas at El Paso has been awarded a $4.9 million grant from the Department of Energy (DOE) to unlock Earth's subsurface for two potential climate change solutions: the storage of carbon dioxide and the generation of energy.
