HOUSTON, Texas, Dec. 8 -- Texas Southern University issued the following news:
Armand Byrd is a two-time Tiger. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an executive master's degree in Public Administration. Byrd spent time as a parole officer for the State of Texas, serving in the sex offender and gang unit. He also served for seven years as Dean of Student Affairs at KIPP Texas.
