WT Researchers Win National Grant to Research Panhandle Refugee Population

CANYON, Texas, Dec. 6 (TNSres) -- West Texas A&M University issued the following news:

Two West Texas A&M University professors are continuing their research into the refugee population of the Texas Panhandle, thanks to a nearly $30,000 grant.

Ten teams were awarded grants from the Natural Hazards Center to support studies into public health solutions to hazards in vulnerable communities across the United States.
