The thirteenth edition of The Lake Tapes shows that Kari Lake's words have consequences. In 2022, Kari Lake called for delaying the certification of Arizona's midterm elections, going so far as to say she wished that "one of these board of supervisors would stand up and say, 'Then come on and arrest me. Bring it. Put the cuffs on and haul me out.'"
