WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:

Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Senate unanimously passed U.S. Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Joe Manchin's (D-WV) bipartisan resolution designating November 2023 as National Homeless Children and Youth Awareness Month. In the United States, more than 1,200,000 students experienced homelessness during the 2021-2022 school year, including an estimated 4,400 in Maine and 13,530 in West Virgini . . .
