AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 5 -- The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation issued the following news release on Dec. 4, 2023:
Brian E. Francis, former executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, has been named interim executive director of the agency starting Jan. 1, 2024. He will serve as interim executive director for up to six months while the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation undertakes a search for a permanent executive director.
