N.C. Insurance Commissioner Causey: South Carolina Woman is Accused of Insurance Fraud

RALEIGH, North Carolina, Dec. 1 -- The North Carolina Department of Insurance issued the following news release on Nov. 30, 2023:

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey announced that Shimecca Montrese McCall, 28, of 2203 Broad Drive, Florence, SC has been charged with insurance fraud, a felony.

Special agents with the Department of Insurance's Criminal Investigations Division accuse McCall of obtaining a renters' insurance policy with Liberty Mutua . . .
