WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 -- Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, issued the following news release on Nov. 30, 2023:
Today, bipartisan legislation led by Congressman Jared Golden (ME-02) and Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-01) passed unanimously out of the House Committee on Administration. The Stop Foreign Funds in Elections Act will prohibit contributions and donations by foreign nationals in American elections.
