WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
A Blackburn Spokesperson released the following statement in response to President Biden's vow to veto S.J. Res. 47, which would overturn the CARES Act home confinement authority for federal prisoners under the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) that was explicitly enacted in response to the COVID national emergency.
