Md. Gov. Moore Announces Additional Funding for Faith-Based Organizations and Nonprofits to Help Protect Against Hate Crimes

ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, Nov. 29 -- Gov. Wes Moore, D-Maryland, issued the following news release on Nov. 28, 2023:

Governor Wes Moore today announced $1 million in additional emergency state funding for hate crime prevention grants. Local organizations that serve protected classes and religious institutions are eligible for funding to hire security personnel for their facilities and membership through a new grant from the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Service . . .
