MANOA, Hawaii, Nov. 23 (TNSres) -- The University of Hawaii Manoa campus issued the following news release:
Collecting, identifying, describing and naming new species of seaweed that live in deeper waters off Hawai'i is the focus of a new University of Hawai'i at Manoa research project that received a $892,290 grant from the National Science Foundation.
The target area is called the mesophotic (pronounced: mee-so-pho-tic) zone, which is an extremely low-light environmen . . .
