BROOKINGS, South Dakota, Nov. 23 -- South Dakota State University issued the following news:

Evan Ortlieb, dean of the Zucker Family School of Education at The Citadel, has been named dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences at South Dakota State University.
Ortlieb was selected following a national search, and his anticipated start date is Dec. 11.
