W.Va. Gov. Justice Announces Elk River Trout Stocking Pilot Program in Webster County

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, Nov. 22 -- Gov. Jim Justice, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release on Nov. 21, 2023:

Gov. Jim Justice today announced that additional trout stockings are coming to the Elk River in Webster County this November and December as part of a recently announced pilot program to evaluate the economic impact of trout stockings to the area.

Starting this week, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources will stock trout on the Elk River . . .
