WASHINGTON, Nov. 18 -- Rep. Alex Mooney, R-West Virginia, issued the following news release: on Nov. 17, 2023:
The U.S Capitol Christmas tree has arrived in Washington! The 60-foot Norway spruce completed its journey from the Monongahela National Forest in Randolph County this morning. It will now be decorated in preparation for the tree lighting ceremony on November 28 at 5 p.m.
