MELBOURNE, Florida, Nov. 16 -- The city of Melbourne issued the following news on Nov. 15, 2023:
During last night's meeting (November 14) the Melbourne City Council approved a resolution to change the name of Crane Field Park to Tim Wakefield Sports Complex to honor Tim Wakefield and to provide a long-lasting and permanent testament to his commitment to the City of Melbourne.
