RALEIGH, North Carolina, Nov. 10 -- Gov. Roy Cooper, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release on Nov. 9, 2023:

Today, Governor Roy Cooper signed the following bills into law:

* Senate Bill 274: Senior Care Options.

* Senate Bill 409: Various Changes to Criminal and Civil Laws.
