RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin, Nov. 1 -- The University of Wisconsin's River Falls Campus issued the following news release:

The economy in western Wisconsin has rebounded well from the downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic, but solutions must be devised to address such challenges as an ongoing worker shortage and affordable housing for the region to continue to prosper financially, speakers said Tuesday at a workforce summit at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
