WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded 11 Safer Streets for All grants totaling $2,019,126 to communities across Ohio.Theprogram funds regional, local and Tribal initiatives through grants to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries.
