AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 31 -- The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation issued the following news release:
TDLR Executive Director Mike Arismendez has resigned from the agency.
Arismendez had been with TDLR since 2019, when he was named Deputy Executive Director. He became Executive Director in 2022. Before joining the TDLR staff, Arismendez was a member of the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation from 2005 until 2019 and was chair of the commission from 2014 . . .
