ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Oct. 31 -- GCI, a telecommunications company, issued the following news release:
With more than 170 miles of new subsea fiber in place, GCI crews are extending fiber even further into rural Alaska as the company prepares Deering and Kivalina for fiber-optic connectivity.
