RICHMOND, Virginia, Oct. 31 -- The Virginia Democratic Party issued the following news release:

A recent, internal, precinct-level analysis of rejected mail ballots has exposed a troubling pattern in absentee ballot rejections, revealing a disproportionate impact on voters of color. As of October 27, Black voters face double the rejection rate (5.2%) compared to white voters (2.5%), with specific localities like Henrico County and Newport News experiencing even higher disparities.
